Solar not producing? We fix systems we didn't install.
Two service trucks, certified technicians, and factory authorization from the brands on most Tampa Bay roofs. Whether your installer is out of business, won't call back, or is Tesla, we diagnose the problem on site, put it in writing, and quote the repair after we know what's wrong, not before.
- Any brand, any installer, including leased systems
- Flat $395 on-site diagnostic with a written report
- Manufacturer warranty parts handled for you
- Roof leaks at panel mounts repaired under our own roofing license
- Licensed electrical contractor, permits pulled when the work needs one

Electrical side of a solar and battery system. We hold the electrical license, so nothing waits on a second trade.
The symptom you have, and what it usually is
Usually a failed inverter, a tripped breaker, or a rapid shutdown device that won't reset. Tesla and SolarEdge inverters top the list in Florida heat.
One string or a group of microinverters is down. Also tree growth or a new shade source nobody noticed.
We read the code, confirm it on site, and tell you whether it's a part under warranty or a wiring problem.
Enphase, Chilicon and Generac micros fail one at a time. We replace them and source parts, including for discontinued Chilicon units.
A leaking attachment. We lift the panel, replace the mount with a flashed one, repair the roof and put the panel back, one visit, one company.
Powerwall, FranklinWH and Generac batteries: gateway, firmware, settings or a failed unit. We service all battery brands.
A flat diagnostic. Then a quote you can say no to.
On-site diagnostic. Technician visit, testing, written findings and a repair quote. Maintenance plan members pay 20% less.
Repairs are priced after the diagnosis, in writing. No repair is sold on the phone. Warranty parts are billed to the manufacturer, not you.
Panel cleaning, priced by panel count. Included once a year on the annual maintenance plan.
The diagnostic fee is not credited toward the repair. We tell you that up front so there is nothing to negotiate later.
Factory authorization matters when the part is under warranty
Manufacturers replace parts through certified installers. If your repair company isn't certified on your inverter, you pay for a part the factory would have covered. We are certified or authorized on:
Four steps, all in writing
Call or book
Tell us the symptom, the brand, and who installed it. If we can see the system's monitoring, we look before we roll a truck.
Diagnostic visit
Technician tests the system, photographs everything, and writes up the cause.
Quote
Repair priced in writing, warranty parts noted. You decide.
Repair and proof
Work done, system verified producing, photo report sent. Permit and inspection when the work requires it.
Keep it from happening again
Most repair customers join the annual maintenance plan afterward: a yearly inspection and cleaning with a photo report, priority scheduling, and 20% off repair labor and parts. We monitor plan members' systems for error messages so the next failure is caught before the power bill shows it.
Solar hot water and solar pool heating. Tesla Solar Roof tiles. Equipment research for you (we'll point you to manufacturer sites and price what you choose). We also don't pick up where a manufacturer's warranty falls short: if the maker won't cover labor, that labor is quoted to you honestly.
Solar repair in Tampa Bay, answered plainly
My solar installer went out of business. Who can repair my system?
Any licensed solar contractor certified on your equipment brand. We repair systems from any installer in Tampa Bay and are certified with Tesla, Enphase, SolarEdge, Generac, Fronius, SMA and REC, so manufacturer warranties on parts still apply.
How much does a solar repair cost?
A flat $395 for the on-site diagnostic, which includes written findings and a repair quote. The repair itself is quoted after the diagnosis. If a part is under manufacturer warranty, the part is covered by the manufacturer. Maintenance plan members get 20% off the diagnostic and repair labor.
Why is my solar system producing less than it used to?
The common causes in Florida are a failed inverter or microinverter, a tripped rapid shutdown device, a string that has dropped offline, soiling, shading from tree growth, and loose or corroded connections. A diagnostic visit identifies which one before any part is replaced.
Can you fix a roof leak around my solar panels?
Yes. We hold a Florida roofing license as well as the electrical and building licenses, so we can lift panels, replace the attachment with a flashed mount and repair the roof in one visit.
Do you repair leased solar systems?
Yes. The leasing company usually reimburses the homeowner for the work.
Do you offer a warranty on repairs?
Our workmanship is warranted. Manufacturer parts carry the manufacturer's warranty. On our own installations, the 10-year workmanship warranty covers wire, conduit and the other parts the manufacturer doesn't.
