Solar detach and reinstall, solar service and roofing in Largo and Seminole.
Largo and Seminole sit in the middle of Pinellas, with 1960s to 1990s homes that are on their second or third roof and, increasingly, have solar from the last decade on top. Fused does the detach and reinstall for a new roof, replaces the roof itself if you want, services every solar brand, and installs new solar and batteries.
Part of our Pinellas County service area.

Conduit and attachments at the eave, run clean so the roofer can work around them.
Where in and around Largo we work
Who issues the permit, and who pulls it
The City of Largo Building Division (201 Highland Ave) issues permits through eTrakit; re-roofs are handled over the counter and the Notice of Commencement copy is required before the first inspection. Seminole has its own Building Division on CitizenServe and requires city contractor registration first. Pinellas Park uses a Tyler portal. Indian Rocks Beach is permitted by Pinellas County, and Indian Shores by its own office. Fused is registered where registration is required and pulls both the roof and solar permits.
Duke Energy Florida serves all of Pinellas. Systems of 10 kW AC and under use Duke's Tier 1 interconnection with no application fee; the net meter is set after the local inspection passes. We file and track it.
What is specific to Largo
| Roofs at end of life with solar on them | This is the Largo job: a 15-to-20-year-old shingle roof with a 2016 to 2021 array. Panels off, new GAF or Owens Corning system over full peel-and-stick, panels back on with new flashed attachments and a 25-year no-leak guarantee. |
|---|---|
| Beach-side parcels | Indian Rocks Beach, Indian Shores and Belleair Bluffs bring flood-zone review and, on larger projects, the FEMA 50 percent rule. We check the parcel before quoting. |
| Multiple permit offices | Largo, Seminole, Pinellas Park and the beach towns each run their own department. We work with all of them, so the permit goes to the right office the first time. |
| Duke Energy | All of Largo is Duke territory. Tier 1 interconnection, no application fee. |

In Florida, solar work needs an electrical or solar license and roof work needs a roofing license. Almost nobody holds both. Fused does, so when we replace a roof and reinstall the panels in Largo, the roofing warranty and the 25-year no-leak guarantee on the attachments come from the same company.

Largo solar and roofing, answered plainly
My Largo roofer wants the solar panels off before they start. Can you do that?
Yes. Fused does the detach and reinstall for your roofer: panels off before they arrive, back on with new flashed attachments and a 25-year no-leak guarantee when they leave. We coordinate with their office and never quote a roof to a roofer's customer.
Do I need two permits to replace a roof with solar in Largo?
Yes. The roof and the solar detach and reinstall are separate permits with separate inspections. Fused pulls both under its roofing license CCC1331058 and electrical license EC13014750.
Do you work in Seminole and Pinellas Park too?
Yes. Each has its own building department and Seminole requires city contractor registration, which Fused holds. We handle Largo, Seminole, Pinellas Park and the beach towns from the same crews.
Do you repair solar in Largo if the installer is gone?
Yes. Any brand, any installer, including leased systems. $395 on-site diagnostic with a written report, repair quoted after.
