If your home has solar, that means one contract for the roof and the panels, one permit set, one schedule, and one company responsible if anything ever leaks. The leak nobody owns
Here is how most solar-roof leaks happen. A roofer replaces the roof. A solar company, or the roofer's salesman's friend, puts the panels back. Two years later water comes through at a panel mount. The roofer's warranty excludes "work by others." The solar company says the roof failed. You are in the middle with a wet ceiling and two phone numbers that blame each other.
When one licensed contractor does both, there is no "others." Our roofing warranty and our 25-year no-leak guarantee on the solar attachments cover the same roof, from the same company.

Panels reinstalled on new flashed attachments, system re-energized and checked, GAF warranty registered in your name, photo report sent.
A roof and solar together can be financed over 30 years
When a new roof and a new solar system go on together, Climate First Bank finances both over 30 years in one loan, as long as the roof is no more than 45% of the project. A roof on its own goes through Service Finance on terms up to 15 years. Self-funding is also available. We don't publish roof pricing because condition changes it, but we do put the full price in writing before you sign.

Can a solar company replace my roof?
Only if it holds a Florida roofing contractor license. We hold roofing license CCC1331058 along with our electrical and building licenses, so we can replace the roof and remove and reinstall the solar under one contract and one permit set.

How much does a new roof cost in Tampa Bay?
Every roof is measured and priced on size, pitch, material, decking condition and whether solar has to come off. We don't publish roof prices because condition changes the number. Two sheets of replacement plywood are included on every job at no charge.
Can I finance a roof and solar together?
Yes. A roof bundled with solar can be financed together over 30 years through Climate First Bank. A roof on its own is financed through Service Finance on terms up to 15 years.
Will you meet my insurance adjuster?
Yes. We can meet the adjuster at the home and provide a written scope, including the solar detach and reinstall line item when panels have to come off.
Do you do roof repairs, or only replacements?
We repair leaks at solar attachments as part of solar service. For general roof repairs unrelated to solar, we'll tell you honestly whether a repair makes sense or whether the roof is at the end of its life.
