Solar installation, service and roofing in Bradenton and Lakewood Ranch.

Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch and Parrish are the southern end of where we work, and for a solar installation, a roof with solar, or a battery job the drive is worth it. Fused brings the electrical, roofing and building licenses to Manatee County under one contract, with Manatee's own paperwork, including the Solar Roof Attachment Affidavit, handled as part of the job.

Permits in Bradenton

Who issues the permit, and who pulls it

The City of Bradenton Building and Permitting Division issues permits through Accela with ePlan. Lakewood Ranch, Parrish and Ellenton are unincorporated, so Manatee County Development Services (9000 Town Center Pkwy) issues them: a dedicated Solar Permit, a Roof Express permit with sheathing, dry-in, in-progress and final inspections, and the Solar Roof Attachment Affidavit, notarized by the contractor or engineer, uploaded before the final. Palmetto has its own department and requires yearly city contractor registration. We pull both permits and file the affidavit.

Utility: FPL or PRECO (depends on the address)

FPL serves most of Manatee; Peace River Electric (PRECO) serves the east including parts of Lakewood Ranch. FPL credits exports at retail under net metering, PRECO at avoided cost, so we confirm your utility from the address and model savings on the right rate.

Why one license matters

When the roof leaks under the array, there's one number to call

In Florida, solar work needs an electrical or solar license and roof work needs a roofing license. Almost nobody holds both. Fused does, so when we replace a roof and reinstall the panels in Bradenton, the roofing warranty and the 25-year no-leak guarantee on the attachments come from the same company.

Questions from Bradenton homeowners

Bradenton solar and roofing, answered plainly

Do you cover Bradenton and Lakewood Ranch?

Yes, for solar installation, battery backup, roof replacement and solar detach and reinstall. For a small service call we'll tell you up front whether the drive from Tampa makes sense.

Is my Bradenton home on FPL or PRECO, and why does it matter?

FPL serves most of Bradenton; PRECO serves the east including parts of Lakewood Ranch. FPL credits exported power at the retail rate under net metering, while PRECO pays avoided cost, which is lower. Fused confirms your utility from the address and models your savings on the right rate.

What is the Manatee County Solar Roof Attachment Affidavit?

A notarized form certifying how the array is attached to the roof structure, required by Manatee County before the final inspection. Fused prepares and files it on every Manatee installation and reinstall.

Can my Lakewood Ranch ARC block solar?

No. Florida Statute 163.04 prohibits HOAs from banning solar and limits placement rules to a 10 percent production loss. They can require an architectural application, which we prepare.
