Questions Tesla owners askTesla removal and service, answered plainly
Can someone other than Tesla remove my Tesla solar panels for a new roof?
Yes. A Tesla-certified installer can remove and reinstall Tesla panels under a permit without affecting your Tesla warranty. We are Tesla-certified and do this work across Tampa Bay, usually on a faster schedule than Tesla offers.
Will using Fused instead of Tesla void my Tesla warranty?
No. We are a Tesla-certified installer and the work is permitted and inspected. Unlicensed or unpermitted removal is what puts a warranty at risk.
How long does Tesla take to remove panels for a roof replacement?
Homeowners regularly report waits of weeks to months for Tesla to schedule a removal, and the roofer usually can't wait that long. We schedule Tesla removals in a fraction of that time and coordinate the dates directly with your roofer.
Do you remove Tesla Solar Roof tiles?
No. Tesla Solar Roof is a roofing product, not a panel system, and only Tesla services it. This page covers Tesla solar panels, Tesla solar inverters and Powerwall batteries.
My Tesla solar inverter failed. Can you fix it?
Yes. We diagnose Tesla solar inverters, perform the tests Tesla requires for a warranty replacement, and install the replacement unit. If the system is still under Tesla warranty the part is covered by Tesla.
Do you service Tesla Powerwalls you did not install?
Yes. We service any Tesla Powerwall for a paying customer, including systems installed by Tesla or another installer, and we handle Tesla warranty-covered work.
Can you add a Powerwall to my existing Tesla solar?
Yes. We install Powerwall 3 and service all battery brands. Batteries are quoted after a site review, and we design installs to go outside the home.
