Get Started with Mobile Link
Mobile Link* is a free mobile app, allowing you to monitor the status of your home standby generator. Each Generac home standby generator is equipped with onboard Wi-Fi enabling you to connect it to your home's WiFi router. Once connected, you can monitor the status of your generator directly from your device, 24/7..
- Download the Mobile Link App and connect your generator to your home's WiFi
- Link your generator in the Mobile Link app and start monitoring your generator!
- Optionally, you can also connect your generator to Amazon Alexa for even more convenience when you're on the go.
*Mobile Link is compatible with most air-cooled and liquid-cooled Generac, Eaton, Siemens and Honeywell brand Home Standby Generators manufactured after 2008.
Download Mobile Link app and Connect your Generator to WiFi
If you haven't already, download Mobile Link from the Play Store or App Store.Then follow the simple setup instructions to connect your generator to your home's WiFi connection.
Sync your Generator in Mobile Link
IAfter connecting the generator to your home’s Wi-Fi, you are ready to add the generator to your Mobile Link app. For additional help watch this short video for step-by-step assistance.
When this step is completed, you are now able to monitor your generator from anywhere!.
Enable the Mobile Link Alexa Skill
Do you want to check your generator status with an Amazon Alexa device? It's easy!
Open the Alexa app on your smartphone and sign in to your Amazon account.
Navigate to the skills section and enter “Mobile Link” in the Alexa skills search box
Enable the Mobile Link skill, and you will be taken to the Mobile Link website to sign in to your account
Once signed in, your account has been linked and you may now ask Alexa about your generator status
